Where were you when you realised you wanted to make this piece of art?
Sitting in the library exuberant because I'd just finished an essay on some sodding old Greek guy and had wandered onto the 'Shrimps' sale (they sell multi coloured fur and other illustrated stuff on clothes) and realised they were charging £200+ for a sketchy face on a pink roll neck jumper so drew some v rough pen faces to confirm that anyone can make 200 pounds if they put their minds to it.
Were you listening to music when you created this piece?
The Rolling Stones - Rocks off (the live version obvs it's like they're in the room with you).
What have you learnt since creating this piece?
HAHA so much but probably nothing worth mentioning. Actually that's a lie. I learnt a lot from David on Sunday night when tuning into Planet Earth. No facts I can recall at this moment but they're in my head somewhere.
Where do you dream of living?
I know it sounds all high and mighty but I'm not really bothered where I live more who I'm living with. Berlin or Glasgow would be dreamy.
I like cities but I find London a bit cold but hey might follow the crowd of people there post uni to see what all the hype's about. I really love the countryside though so I'll probably move to a big old cold house when I'm about 30 and have a room with yellow wallpaper to match these siq yellow trainer I have and keep all my records in it.
What does red remind you of?
Old cars, that red Adidas equipment jumper, the cover of The Last Shadow Puppets' new album and my sister's hair.
