Coasts

Ocean and sky lie

Rough shores stretch eternally,

Bathing in the blue.

White peaks dance,

Whispering winds bite,

In faultless flirtation.

Muddy marshes tow glimmering green,

Whilst sandy spits stab savagely,

Striking a relentless enemy.

As surf sprays out of rocky wounds,

And the call of winged cavalry,

Deafens even Poseidon.
