Is she black or is she nude?
A question that could start a feud
Instead of asking such questions you should
Kindly refrain from being so fucking rude
What in my mind really protrudes
Are delicious images of delectable food
From the shank of lamb that has been much stewed
To the thoughts of foie gras I ought to elude
I must admit the question may be tabooed
but let me firmly try and imbue,
No matter your ilk, colour or hue
Don’t ever, ever, ever be subdued

Can you describe the moment you wanted to capture?
I wanted to capture the transient nature of spending time with friends. Two of them had just graduated university and were leaving to start a new chapter.
Can you describe the moment you captured the photo?
This photo was taken last summer in the Isle of Man after a very impromptu decision to join my two friends there. We had just walked a few miles around the coast, visited Peel and eaten our fair share of queenies and ice cream just before this picture was taken.
Where do you dream of living?
A little apartment tucked away in Holborn.
What does nude remind you of?
Ripe peaches.
Where were you when you realised you wanted to make this piece of art?
Sitting at my study trying to summon the motive to draft my essay whilst meticulously pruning my roses and eating some honey from a jar. Submitted it two days after this poem was finished.
Were you listening to music when you created this piece?
Dance of the Knights - Sergei Prokofiev
