Can you describe the moment you wanted to capture?
I wanted to be able to capture the stillness of nature, and yet its vibrancy and colour.
Can you describe the moment you captured the photo?
When I was younger, my sister and I would try to make pictures out of the flowers and leaves we found in the garden. This painting was trying to recreate that idea of using stuff found in nature to create images that can be themselves classed as art.
