“Never stay up on the barren heights of cleverness, but come down into the green valleys of silliness.”

This is the fourth line that appears on trusty Google when you search ‘green quotes’. Ludwig (Wittgenstein) has in fact managed to convey the exact mood, message and (frankly) morality that we wanted this issue to encompass. Yes, shoving a somewhat successful philosopher onto the page was at first a pretentious move, but how wondrous and simply sublime that he compares that great colour we call green with stripped back emotions; that is, the honesty and simplicity of silliness.

Enjoy flicking from page to page of this crisp cyber magazine. We hope you’ll find as much talent, emotion and depth as we did. Green has brought us back to the basics; opening our eyes to the freshness of nature and the observation of patterns.

Read a bit, dabble in art, take in people’s thoughts. You never know, the person opposite you in the library could have sketched that.
